Salary Improvement Process (SIP) Training

 

For FY 2008-2009 Salary Improvement Planning

We offer two levels of training classes for SIP - one for "New Users" and a "Real Time SIP Workshop" for individuals who have previously used CPBS.  The New User training is a hands-on class that includes an overview of the SIP process, how to enter your SIP information into CPBS, and how to retrieve and use standard Brio-Hyperion SIP reports.  In the Real Time SIP Workshop, Budget Office staff will be on hand to help users enter their SIP and answer CPBS web and Brio-Hyperion SIP report questions.

In order to participate in a training session, you will need an active VMID and password for accessing CPBS web, as well as your NetID and password for accessing Brio-Hyperion reports. PLEASE check your access and security when you initially register for training. It can take up to a week to establish your VMID or password changes. You can avoid potential difficulties by checking security when you first sign up for training.

Training sessions will be offered on the following dates:

Once you get to this screen, click on "SIP Training", then choose the course you want to take - New User or Real Time SIP Workshop. Click on "Schedules & Pricing", decide which date you would like to attend, click "Enroll" (located on the far right of the box). If a security screen pops up, click "yes", if the same screen pops up again, click "yes". If you are a new user, please set up a new account, if you are a returning user, sign in. Once you are signed in, the screen will show you which class you have chosen. Click "Proceed with Enrollment" and then "Submit". You will then receive an "Enrollment Confirmation".

Please note: If the security screen continues to pop up at different times, always click "yes".
