Reporting from the Budget Data Marts

You may use the Brio-Hyperion Budget Reports at any time during the year.

To access the reports, go to the Brio-Hyperion portal and click on the link CORNELL AD HOC QUERY TOOL. Select 'Accounting Folder', then 'Budget' for the Financial Planning Reports. For Workforce Planning Reports, select the 'HR' folder and then the 'HR Budget Workforce' folder.

The budget data marts are updated nightly (Monday through Friday) with data from CPBS. Note that adjustments made in CPBS after about 6:00 pm are not likely to appear in the data mart update for that day and changes made over the weekend will not be available for reporting until Tuesday (i.e. if you work over the weekend the data will not be extracted to the data marts until late Monday night).

Access to the two budget data marts is granted by the unit data access authorizer, who submits a request to the Budget Office (Jean Palmer, jlp12@cornell.edu). With the exception of access to SIP data, data mart users do not have to be users of CPBS. There are two budget data marts and they are governed by different security roles and access rules that are detailed on the access and security page of this website.
